Sam is from St. Joseph, Missouri and moved to Colorado in 1972 after serving five years in the United States Air Force. Sam is married to his beautiful life partner Mary, a Registered Nurse and Wellness Consultant. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Sam is a graduate of Graceland University, Iowa, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with emphasis in Finance and Economics. He was also a star athlete in cross country and track & field and finished fifth in the mile run at the National Track and Field championships in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After graduation from Graceland University Sam went on to complete a Masters in Business Administration Degree with emphasis in Insurance from Indiana University. Upon graduation he entered the Air Force and served in Thailand and Germany as a transportation officer. During that time he also taught business courses for the world wide campus of the University of Maryland. Sam is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), as well as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF). His current business focus is on cash flow retirement and estate planning. Sam is licensed for securities in Colorado, Idaho, North Carolina, Texas and Utah; and insurance licensed in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, California, Florida, Idaho, and Nevada. Sam enjoys worldwide travel, golf, skiing, camping (as long as it’s a Four Seasons Resort) and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
