Melissa Williams is the founder and CEO of Star Financial. Star Financial is a wealth management company that helps everyday people plan their financial lives through personalized strategies in securities and life insurance. As the company Visionary and lead advisor, Melissa helps her clients identify exactly what they want to achieve, and builds customized plans to help them achieve it.
With over 10 years in the industry, Melissa witnessed firsthand the bloated and broken system of companies in this industry who treated clients like projects, providing convoluted financial plans with no relevance to the clients dreams and goals and lacking flexibility and versatility in their ever-changing lives. As a responsible fiduciary, Melissa started Star Financial with the resolution to transform that experience for every one of her clients through education, encouragement, and protection.
While working hard to help Star achieve their goals, Melissa dedicates her free time to the Spokane Humane Society where she recently fulfilled a 2 year role as the president of the board. She is currently working on obtaining her Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation which allows her to collaborate with clients in legacy, gift, and estate planning, help identify and utilize charitable giving capacities, and to elevate a person’s goals, purpose, and meaning through effective philanthropy.
Melissa is an avid snow skier, animal rescuer, and a mother who values her time with her family.
