Originally born and raised in Coto de Caza in Orange County, Laura studied literature, art, and history at Oriel College in Oxford before graduating with honors from University of California, Los Angeles in 2007.  She immediately began a career in public accounting at a midsized practice in Mission Valley which merged with Squar Milner in 2016.

A Squar Milner, Laura was responsible for maintaining the firm’s 47 state CPA licenses, AICPA Peer Review compliance, assisting with Governmental audits, and managing 12 administrators.  In 2020, Squar Milner combined with Baker Tilly, a world-wide, top ten public accounting firm and Laura’s role expanded to SEC client audits, Employee Benefit Fund audits, and shifting the organization to a ‘remote’ operation during the pandemic.  She recently joined Strazzeri Mancini’s Family Counselor Department in May 2023.

A weekend warrior, Laura spends her free time living out her National Geographic fantasies: Class IV white water rafting on the Lower Clear Creek, deep sea diving the kelp beds of the Channel Islands Marine Reserve, spelunking a system along the San Andreas Fault line in Anza Borrego, hiking down the frozen Virgin River in the Narrows; Zip lining with howler monkeys in Costa Rica.  The next adventure is open water, free diving with sharks.
